It isn't often that we hear of dogs celebrating their 16th birthday; Mac is one of the few.
On December 31st, Susan & Tom's sweet Westie turned 16 years old. It's a milestone, not only because it is certainly a ripe old age for any dog, but because Mac has had congestive heart failure for the past two years, yet, his quality of life is still quite good.
In 2020, we met Susan & Bob, actually our neighbors, and over the years, we have also met their dogs, Mac being one of them. He is a lovely, handsome, sweet dog.
There is no question in Susan's mind that the reason Mac is still with them today is that three years ago, they changed his diet to Napa Fresh. Susan says "He's had CHF for over 2 years so we are very grateful to still have him. I believe his relative good health is because of the excellent food we feed him. His quality of life is still very good."
What a testament to what feeding the dogs we adore a fresh, whole foods diet can accomplish. Thanks Susan & Bob, and Mac. We couldn't do it without you!
